2 months and growing!

Well here she is at 2 months old. She has such a personality now. You can tell that she is starting to recognize mom and dad. Daddy can get her to smile any time of the day!! She has learned where her tongue is and loves to smack it! She is so much fun!

DISNEYLAND

How would it be to have already been to disneyland and you aren't even 2 months old!!! Payton did so great at Disneyland it was a week for a few firsts.... first plane ride, first time to Disneyland, first time on a ride! We can't wait to take her back when she knows who the Princesses are and gets excited to see them!!!!

Fun at the cabin

This was Paytons first trip to our Cabin. She did so awesome the weather was beautiful and she got to go on her first wheeler ride! The four wheeler rides put her right to sleep. Daddy can't wait to get her own and teach her to ride!

A trip to the canyon

This was Paytons first time up the canyon. She loved it. We took her stroller with us and we had to do some off-roading to get to a spot. She smiled the whole time she was bouncing and jiggling around. We are glad that she likes the sunday drives!

Bones!!

We have taught her young :)

Look at those Dimples!!

This is our first photo of the 3 of us. You can't really see Payton's shirt but it says 50% MOM 50% DAD, we all know those percentages are bogus!!
We were able to catch one of her big smiles on camera for once. Doesn't she have the cutest dimples and chins!!!
This is Mommy's favorite outfit that Payton has. She is growing so fast, hopefully this one fits for a while!

One month already!!!

WOW!! Here we are one month later and she is cuter than ever. We have learned alot this past month and Payton has grown so much. She is starting to sleep better in longer chunks which is so nice for us. She has started to get a personality and give us smiles every once in a while. It's the little things that make being parents worth the while!!

Our little Baby Girl!

Well here she finally is. I guess we should start from the beginning...... It all started about a week before she actually was born. Mandy started having mild contractions on Saturday the 8th. They would come and go for about 3 hours every night and then stop. She was 80% effaced and ready to go. On thursday they started to get more painful and all in her back. Friday morning was her 40 week appointment and she was dialated to about a 2 and fully effaced. Dr sloan said that since she was on call all weekend she would start her on saturday morning if she wasn't already in labor. Well all day Friday we had contractions every 10-15 minutes until about 5:30 and then they got to about 6 minutes apart. Then they would go back to about 10 minutes. They got to be to much about 5 am so we went into the hospital.
She was dialated to 3.5. They broke her water at about 9:30 and they decided to have them go for a walk to get the contractions closer together. At about 11:30 she finally got her epidural. YEAH! But she still wouldn't dialate any faster and was only at a 4. So they started the patosin drips. To make a really long story short Payton couldn't handle the contractions once they got closer together. Her heart rate would drop rapidly after every contraction. So they gave Mandy something to stop the contractions all together. At about 7:30 the doctor said that she didn't know how much longer the baby could handle the contractions and Mandy was only at a 5.5.
So it was decided that she needed to have a c-section. So after 15 hours of labor Payton was born at 9:25 pm. She was 7 lbs 13 oz & 19 1/2 inches. She is the most beautiful baby and such a blessing to Mom and Dad. She is such a Daddy's girl, Justin can calm her down just by touching her and talking to her.

Nursery Fun!!!

Well it seems like we have been working on this nursery for months... wait we have :) All we have left to do is a few stencils on the walls and hang pictures and she is set. We figure if she is to come soon this is good enough for now.We are finally just over 37 weeks and have 19 days till D day. Mandy can totally feel that things are starting to progress. We just had our 37 week check-up and everything is looking good. Any time now really :)
