Daddy Daughter Date Night

So about once or twice a month Diddy and Daddy get to hang out all night long. Tonight was one of those special nights that I cherish. Mandy went to her friend Lindsey's house and Diddy and I stayed home and played. These are just a few of the pictures from our fun night. I have to say my favorite part was when I asked Payton if she wanted to make a snowman and she said no lets make a cougar!! For those of you that know me you can only imagine the size of my smile when she said that. My sweet girl is already a die hard cougar like her daddy!! After playing in the snow we came in and made some Mickey Mouse pancakes and had some chocolate milk. I love Payton so much and cherish these nights because before I know it they will be gone!!

Update!

So it has been a while since we have done a post... WE ARE ALIVE!!! We had a fun October and did some fun Halloween things. We took Payton to Thanksgiving point Boo at the Barnyard and let her do all the fun crafts there. We had some friends over to carve pumpkins and she LOVED having them over.
For Halloween she was her favorite person.... Minnie Mouse! She loved dressing up 2 days in a row. We also went to Grandma taylors work and did some fun crafts, games and trick or treating. She was so fun to watch trick or treat she would say Trick or treat and happy halloween to almost every door (thank you Morgan for your help!)
This is a fun age and we are loving it!!!!

So yesterday (15th) was our "dating" anniversary (8years) which we haven't really celebrated since we got married. But Justin totally surprised me and made arrangements for a babysitter and we went to the Melting Pot. It was so fun to just go out and be together! He also sent me an Edible Arrangement which i have always said looked so cool. And it was TASTY!!! Payton kept saying open present mommy! Thanks babe for a fun night out! Love you long time!!!

BYU vs UCLA

Saturdays game was so much FUN. Justin and I had a great time watching BYU shut out UCLA!****59-0**** GO COUGARS!!!!!

State Fair

We were invited to go with Grammy and Papa Taylor to the state fair and we had a blast. Payton is really into animals so she loved that. The horse ride was great she loved riding it and thought she was so big! She had fun square dancing with Grammy and Papa THANKS for the fun night!

My LITTLE girl is getting so BIG!

So yesterday was a much better day!! Payton had her first Dance lesson and her 2 year old checkup. She absolutely LOVED dance! I was worried she would be to shy, but it was the total opposite! She kept saying "my turn again?" and "one more mommy"! It is a mommy and me class for 2 year olds and i think that its going to be so much fun sharing this with her!

So as most of you know Payton is and has always been off the charts at her DR appts. This time was no exception she was 101% for height(38inches) 95% for weight(33lbs) and basically he said the size of an average 3 year old. I still remember when she was born and our pediatrician said it will be fun to see how tall she is. He said just looking at the 2 of us he knew she would be tall!

Beware!!! I am venting...

So this is probably a first for me to write down some not so fun things that go on here but i feel the need. So if you don't want to keep reading that is totally understandable. I want to preface by saying i LOVE my little girl and she is the light of my life, but today i am feeling....... worn out, tired, unappreciated, at my wits end!!!!!!!! I have heard "NO MOMMY" & "TOP IT" more than i can count today. Starting the day off way to early for her 7:45, an accident with a follow up "princesses sad.. poop on princess" to a MAJOR melt down at the store. Did I add she is probably getting sick so the whining and clinginess is CONSTANT! That resulted in my first break down. To a way to short nap waking up crying and didn't stop for atleast 30 minutes. I have been doing laundry and ironing all day just to find out that the shirts i ironed came from the dirty laundry!!!!!! Thanks for that Sweetheart, she must have messed with my laundry. Well I now need to add a second break down for a good reason. My sister-in-law knowing i was having a bad day just showed up at my house with a Mt dew and a treat for payton!!! She is so thoughtful!!! I am lucky to have her as my neighbor, best friend and sister-in-law!!!
Well lets end with the playdough she stuck in her ears!! Yes and it is only 2:45. I love being a mom and it really is Such a blessing to have her! I am going to remind myslef that she will only be little once and to love all these memories i will look back at and laugh!! RIGHT????

Sneaking up on the daddies!

So every year we go to Wasatch and camp over labor day. The ladies all get to go to Swiss days and the guys go golfing. And this year Justin had his first BYU FOOTBALL game!!! He is so dang excited. He is a true Y fan, he has even taught Payton the fight song and how to say go Cougars(his ringtone). My grandpa has had these season tickets for over 50 years and Justin is really the only one left in the family interested to go so lucky him he gets them! We had a great time:)

Mandy Learns How to Wake Board!!!!

So I had to post this short video and pics because I know Mandy won't. For those of you that don't know Mandy, she is deathly terrified of fish and slimmy things in the water!! We have had a boat for two years now and not until this year has she ever gotten in the water!!! The last three times we have gone boating she has gotten in the water and tried to wake board. Well today was the day that she got up and did it!!! I am so proud of my hot wake boarding wife!!! Love you the most no battle triple stampy babe!!!

So Payton wakes up from her nap.. as you can tell by her hair. (if you know me i am crazy about her hair...i know i know she is 2 but come on im a mom its my perogative) she comes out of the potty and says "chocky poodin mommy p's" how can i resist! And you can see where it goes from there! Face painting!!!

Disneyland..more again!

So we decided last monday that we wanted to take a trip to Disneyland and justin had time off over the 24th. So we packed up and left. Nathan and his kids and Grandma Gloria came on this adventure with us. It was a very eventful trip. We started off driving through the night which was ok and then when we got there we went right to the park! The very first thing we saw Pooh. If any of you have been to Disney and tried to get a picture with one of the character's there it is crazy parents pushing there kids in front of everyone. Well this happened to us in a bad sort of way and i was so disgusted with this lady that shoved my 2 year old out of the way to get her probably 12 year olds picture!!!!! But as soon as that was over all of a sudden we hear Payton yell...MICKEY MOUSE!!! and there he was! It was the cutest thing ever! It made the trip all worth while at that moment! She hugged and kissed him and i wanted to cry!(silly moms) The same thing happened with Minnie mouse she loved them and kept saying MORE AGAIN!!!! She was tall enough to go on the Maderhorn! That was Justins Highlight! and she loved it! But somehow on the second night we lost Justins wallet! Yeah, and we now know that someone has it and has been trying to use it. It makes me so angry that some people are so dishonest. It makes you feel very violated when you know someone has that much info on you and can basically ruin your life! We had a few accidents(grandma:)) but all in all it was a fun trip that payton got to enjoy with her Bessy, Ben, Nasan & Grammy!

Paytons 2nd birthday!

So our baby is 2! Wow how time has flown by. Payton is so much fun and we dont want to know what life would be like without her! Since the day she was born i was surprised how much you can love one person so quickly and unconditionally. And it just keeps getting stronger as she gets older! She has such a cute personality and we love to watch her change and grow!! Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated with Payton! She loves each one of you and was so happy yesterday!!!
